Once the Podscribe pixel is implemented and collecting data, additional features become available across the dashboard and planning tools.
This article covers what becomes available after the pixel is live.
What the Pixel Enables
The Podscribe pixel allows us to connect podcast impressions to on-site activity (visits, purchases, etc).
Once this data is available, we can use it to power planning, audience insights, and forecasting.
Projected Performance (Planner)
After the pixel is live, the planner will begin showing projected lower-funnel performance.
This includes:
- Projected visits
- Projected conversions
- Estimated performance by show
These projections are based on observed behavior from your site data.

Brand Affinity
Brand affinity becomes available once enough pixel data is collected.
Brand affinity = % of listeners from a show who are already visiting or purchasing from your brand.
Example:
- If a show has 10% brand affinity, that means 10% of its listeners are already your customers or site visitors.
This helps identify shows with strong existing audience overlap.

Customer Segments (TransUnion)
Podscribe uses TransUnion data to enrich your audience insights.
This allows you to view for all site traffic:
- Demographic segments
- Behavioral segments
- Audience composition
These segments are based on the users captured through your pixel data.

Finding Similar Shows
Once pixel data is available, Podscribe can identify shows that most closely match your existing customers.
This is based on:
- Who is visiting or converting on your site
- Which shows those users listen to
This can be used to:
- Discover new shows
- Expand campaigns
- Improve targeting
Why This Requires the Pixel
Without the pixel:
- Podscribe cannot observe your actual site visitors or customers
- Planning is based on broader datasets
With the pixel:
- Insights are based on your real audience
- Planning becomes more accurate
Notes
- These features require sufficient data volume before they appear
- Data collection begins as soon as the pixel is live
- Some features may not populate immediately
