Setting Up Sub-Publishers

What Are Sub-Networks?

Sub-networks allow you to organize and manage multiple publisher entities under a parent publisher account. They enable data sharing and audience aggregation while maintaining separate operational control.

How Sub-Networks Work

When a network is added as a sub-network:

  • Data Visibility: The parent network can see all campaigns created by the sub-network.
  • Audience Tracking: Sub-network show data counts toward the parent publisher's total audience size.
  • Dashboard Organization: All sub-network shows appear on the parent's configure page with a different publisher designation, making them easily distinguishable and filterable.
  • Ranker Credit: Sub-network shows contribute to the parent publisher's ranking on the Podscribe Ranker.

Adding a Sub-Network

Due to data access security considerations, sub-networks can only be added by Podscribe admins. This restriction is in place because adding a sub-network grants access to all of that network's data.

To request a sub-network addition:

  1. Contact adops@podscribe.com.
  1. Specify which publisher you'd like to add as a sub-network.
  1. Share proof that

Sub-Network Limitations

Currently, sub-networks have the following constraints:

  • Show Management: Only the sub-network owner can add shows to their own sub-network. The parent publisher cannot directly add shows to a sub-network.
  • Admin-Controlled Setup: Sub-network configuration remains under admin control to protect data integrity and security.

Use Cases

Sub-networks are ideal for:

  • Media companies managing multiple brands or networks
  • Publishers with regional or specialized divisions
  • Organizations seeking unified audience reporting across related properties
