Post-Purchase (HDYHAU) Survey Data — Setup & Reporting

Podscribe integrates with most major post-purchase survey providers to ingest and display your post-purchase survey data right on your dashboard. This lets you see all your measurement data—pixel conversions, promo redemptions, and survey responses— unified in one real-time view. Additionally, Podscribe uses AI to fuzzy-match customer responses to your show names, so no one has to waste time manually matching these responses!

Setup

The first step is to start sending Podscribe your survey responses. See below for integrations guides:

Fairing

To have Podscribe auto-ingest your Fairing responses, head to Fairing > Account > API Credentials. Unhide the Secret Token, copy it, and email it to adops@podscribe.com, requesting Podscribe pull in your responses.

Not seeing your provider? Email support@podscribe.com and we’ll sort it out!

Once Podscribe has begun ingesting your customer responses, we will sync the response data every few hours automatically to your dash.

Viewing Survey Data on Podscribe

After the integration is live, Podscribe auto-matches survey responses for both media type Podcast and YouTube to your campaigns. Podscribe use AI to fuzzy-match responses to show names. For example, responses such as JRE, Rogan, and Joe Rogan should be auto-matched to the show The Joe Rogan Experience.

You can then easily see how many survey responses each of your podcasts received, right alongside your promo counts, and pixel conversions.

Note: On the Overview, in both the summary and table view, we display the modeled number of survey responses, not the actual number, to account for not all customers completing the survey. For example, if 10 customers answer Joe Rogan as how they heard of the product, but only 50% of customers complete the survey, we will display 20 as the survey count. We will soon make an update to also display the survey completion rate, and raw survey response counts on the dash. To get the raw response counts in the meantime, you can download the Individual Conversions report (#3 below), or download the matched responses for any Show (#2 below).

See your survey response data in these 3 places now:

  1. Overview Summary Card Alongside pixel conversion and promo counts, you’ll see how many modeled survey responses we found for the time range and shows selected.

  1. Overview > Show tab in the Survey column
    1. On your Overview > Show tab, you will see the response counts for each Show in the Survey col. NOTE - you must be on the Show, not Placement tab to see this column.

If you hover over the value for any individual row, eg the 29 in the row below, you’ll see a download icon that lets you download all the individual responses, along with their Order IDs and timestamps, eg:

This lets you double-check all the matched responses to make sure the AI is matching correctly.

  1. Individual Conversions CSV Report
    1. This file, downloadable from your Overview (or API), includes all order IDs that have a survey response (or promo usage), even if they aren’t matched via pixel. The column Survey Response includes the user response (note in the below screenshot the column is shifted). By seeing all promo code, pixel, and survey responses matched to Order IDs in one file, you can triangulate across all 3 measurement methods, and gauge how often all three align.
