How To Link Social Media Accounts To Campaigns

Podscribe is able to track and report on your social media posts and engagement (likes, comments, and views) automatically. However, in order for this to happen, you will need to link the social media profiles in the dashboard.

How to link social media profiles as a Publisher

  1. Log in to Podscribe at app.podscribe.com.
  1. Navigate to the Configure page and click on the show you want to link episodes to social posts for.

  1. Click the Wrench 🔧 icon next to the show’s album art to ‘Update Simulcast Feed and Episode Matching’.

  1. Add the social profiles for YouTube, Rumble, TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram. Simple click the “+” button and search for the correct profile to associate with the show. Double verify that any existing social profiles associated with the show are correct.

Note: If a profile is missing or incorrect, update it here before proceeding — episode matching pulls posts from these linked accounts.

  1. Click “Configure Episode Matching” to open the episode-to-post matching screen.
  1. Click the pencil icon next to the episode you want to match.
  1. Select the correct post for that episode. Ideally, choose the post associated with the episode in which the baked-in ad actually ran.

When Will Social Extensions Appear?

Associating a post with an episode doesn't immediately surface extended audience reach data in the dashboard. Podscribe needs to "aircheck" each social post — a process that checks whether the advertiser is mentioned in the post — and this runs only a few times per day.

It may take up to 24 hours for social extensions to appear after a post is associated.

Viewing Social Extension Data

Once aircheck has run and social extensions have appeared, you'll be able to see metrics such as:

  • Impressions
  • Likes
  • Comments

for the associated post in the By Campaign screen for each campaign.

Troubleshooting: Still Not Seeing Social Extensions?

If you've completed all the steps above and 24+ hours have passed with no social extension data, the issue is likely related to how the campaign was set up — specifically, its Media Type.

For social extensions to track accurately, the campaign's Media Type must be set to "Simulcast."

Example of an Incorrect Setup

Campaigns set to Media Type "Podcast" will not track social extensions accurately.

Example of a Correct Setup

Campaigns set to Media Type "Simulcast" will track social extensions correctly.

What to Do

If your campaign's Media Type is set to "Podcast" instead of "Simulcast," reach out to the stakeholder managing the campaign and ask them to update the Media Type to Simulcast or a Social (Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, or Instagram).
