Dashboard Glossary

Please see below for a list of definitions and descriptions of terms that can be found in the Podscribe dashboard.

 

Campaign Delivery Metrics

Metrics that describe how many ads were served and to whom, i.e., your campaign’s exposure and reach.

  • Ads - The total number of ads that have been matched to this campaign.
  • Impressions - Combined number of IAB-certified RSS downloads, YouTube views, SAI impressions, and Rumble views.
  • Reach - The number of unique devices that downloaded an ad in this campaign. This excludes YouTube and Spotify Video listeners. Devices are identified by their IP-user agent pair, so the count may slightly overestimate the true number of individual people reached.
  • Frequency (Freq.) - The average number of times a device downloaded an ad. Frequency = Impressions ÷ Reach
  • CPM / Cost Per Mille - The cost per 1,000 impressions (the “M” stands for mille, meaning thousand). CPM = (Spend ÷ Impressions) × 1,000

Engagement & Traffic Metrics

Metrics that track user interaction and movement toward your brand after being exposed to ads.

  • Visitors - The number of unique site visitors attributed to this campaign
  • Signups - The number of unique site signups attributed to this campaign
  • Installs - The number of unique app installs attributed to this campaign

Conversion & Revenue Metrics

Metrics that measure sales, revenue, and overall financial performance.

  • Conversions (Convs.) - The number of purchases attributed to this campaign
  • Promos - The number of times matching promo codes were used.
  • Spend - The total ad spend for the campaign.
  • Revenue - The cumulative total value of all purchases driven by this campaign. For fractionally attributed purchases, only the corresponding fraction of the total purchase amount is included.
  • ROAS / Return on Ad Spend - A measure of how much revenue was generated for every dollar spent on ads. ROAS = Revenue ÷ Spend
  • AOV / Average Order Value - The average value of each purchase attributed to the campaign. AOV = Revenue ÷ Conversions
  • CPA / Cost Per Acquisition - The average cost per purchase attributed to the campaign. CPA = Spend ÷ Conversions

Cost Efficiency Metrics

  • CPC / Cost Per Click - The average cost incurred for each click attributed to the campaign. CPC = Spend ÷ Number of Clicks
  • CPI / Cost Per Install - The average cost per app install attributed to the campaign. CPI = Spend ÷ Installs\
  • CPV / Cost Per Visitor - The average cost per unique site visitor attributed to the campaign. CPV = Spend ÷ Visitors
  • CPL / Cost Per Lead - The average cost per signup or lead generated by the campaign. CPL = Spend ÷ Signups
